On record stores closing

I was just up in Philly around 12th and Market looking for old record stores that I remembered from the 90s and most of them were closed.

My man @vrbpro just tweeted me with this video he put together covering the closing of DC’s DJ Hut one of the greatest record stores! RIP

Update 3/10/10

So the one record store we went to was Funk o Mart. It was dope, me and Mike went to check the stacks and Chino put us on. I bumped into Lokee last night who told me Funk o Mart just close two mondays ago. thats nuts right? We were just there, Sunday 2/21/10

Lokee pulled the break for This is DC for me one day in 2002. He was like, take this, sample this, nobody knows this, nobody will ever find this. THANKS!
