$666 Million

DC is $666 Million in the hole  and ONE TERM MAYOR ADRIAN FENTY has a plan to balance the budget with cuts that dispraportionately affect low-income residents. The good people at Save Our Safety Net are fighting to preserve the social services that help DC’s poorest residents.

Good thing DC spent so much money on this…

    Yeah, DCs budget cuts always seem to affect working class folk the most. I remember my days at UDC in ’96. We had to incur a large portion of the city’s deficit. The sold the radio station and all that jazz. No pun intended. Let’s just say times were lean.
