The Ecstatic, a new album by Mos Def, certainly ranks as one of the finer hip hop albums of this decade. The boogieman is back. Need wax.
This is the first in a series of >140 character hip hop album reviews.


Dope concept mix from Judah. Long story short – since the early days of hip-hop, the industry has been heavily borrowing from the DC, MD and VA areas sound. Judah breaks it down in between some classic tunes that owe their style to go-go.
