My thoughts as I listen:
Flying Lizard – Nice mix, the vocals come across low on my side. Of course I’m rockin’ a motherboard sound card and Koss headphones via creative speakers, which I’m sure pale against the studios you’ve got in the lab.
Uhuru is hot.
Arizona Cream took me back to the days of rockin’ the Hyundai with Russ and walkin’ the beat with Shaft.
Is that Coltrane on the Crooklyn track?
Go-go’s a DC flavor, I don’t mind it, but it’s not my usual listening.
Mos is good for White people any time. The beat is sweet.
Vocals are low on How high.
Knocked Up gets me going old school style. But I guess that’s what Wu does to me. What’s that beat? It’s a smooth flow.
Mango leader is nice. Classy sound. Who’s on the vocals?
Clapping makes me happy, as does spoken word.
rewind selecta! let me know when I can get the mix.
White people love mos def, the fugees and wu-tang.
btw, none of this is mixed or mastered. just ruff cuts so i can kill it with exclusives!
waiting for the compilation so i don’t have to keep hitting a new track every 140 seconds. good work my friend. you are ready, willing and ableton!
