I spoke with Afrika Bambaataa at Rock the Bells on Sunday. The brother is such a powerful force and has given so much to Hip Hop. Much respect!
On the state of Hip Hop:
Hip hop has been infiltrated by the Luciferians. And in response, hip hop has to go back and bring the balance of Ma’at. A balance between old and new, new with the old.
On Technology:
I love it. [Serato] allows us to preserve the culture..to protect records from people who rob DJs on airplanes. Now we digging in the digital crates.
Thank God for YouTube, we need that to spread the truth
On Politics:
Its cool to get alongside another African American for change…but people need to know about who he is related to, what that shows you about this Government.
On Hip Hop’s role in social change:
Organize, we need unity..see how we organized against Hot97 in New York. Hip Hop needs to organize! Keep teaching, stand up!
Afrika Bambaataa also emphasized the importance of the movement to Free Dr Malaki Z. York.
