A lot of artists, promoters, publicists etc have been hitting me up lately for coverage here or at the City Paper. Let me give yall a lil game…

1. If you got a graphic, make sure that it scales down to 500 pixels wide. Thats a good rule of thumb for posting it to blogs, it makes my life easier.
2. Summarize your event in plain text and include any relevant hyperlinks. A 1 page PDF is great, but makes it harder for me to get it up on the blog. Really you should just have your OWN blog, and send me a link to a blogready post…
3. If you want me to check out your music, please send me the mp3 as an attachment. If you got a few MP3s, .zip them up and post em to sendspace.
4. If you are sending out emails, put those addresses in the BCC field. Please, thanks.
