ATLiens Resurrection is any true hip hop head’s wet dream. Food Stamp takes the instrumentals from Common’s Resurrection and Outkast’s ATLiens and fuses them with the lyrical likes of The Beatnuts, JB’s, Cee-Lo, Mos Def, DOOM, Nas, J5 and others to give these beats a whole new life. Unlike most “blends” cd’s that are merely compilations, Stamp takes the time to turn this project into an actual mixtape cd complete with all that scratching and turntable trickery. Don’t sleep on this, resurrection to its fullest!
This mix is really dope. Glad somebody is doing something interesting these days as a DJ. Download here

Somebody should do a boxed set of every Common beat, but with somebody else doing all of the rapping.
Well, maybe we’d still let Common do “I Used To Love Her.”

and i thought i was common’s biggest hater.
He didn’t need that Diet Coke money. But he took it anyway.

Good catch on the mixtape. I had a couple of these as loosies a bit back but never got the whole mix. That Biz show sounds like it was intense; last weeks wasn’t too bad either. He was in his own place mentally and spun tracks he was feeling, even if not everybody else wasn’t. It was still a good one though.
