[Also posted off-line in my building's stairwell after one of my neighbors left a broke-ass inkjet printer and a dirty rug in front of the building...]

Please consider using Craigslist or Freecycle to discard your unwanted appliances, computer equipment, furniture etc.

While leaving your stuff outside the building may seem like a convenient solution, its not good for the environment or the neighborhood.

Your privilege allows you to discard usable things that people want so at least take the effort to help them find a good home.
