Your old PC is not recylved, it is sent to China or Nigeria where the poorest of the poor live and work in a highly toxic environment to strip motherboards and other PC components of valuable metals.

Many of the world’s richest individuals have made their fortunes from technology and continue to maximize their profits by introducing new and better products that turn last year’s computer into an obsolete machine that then becomes a toxic environmental hazard.

Each computer can require up to 2800 gallons of water to manufacture. Think about that next time you upgrade and leave that PC by a dumpster…
