Here’s why:
Because 3 multinational corporations control the entire music industry. Those corporations, while choosing to maintain the status quo (ie. colonization/white supremacy) are sensitive to the elements of the state and of society which support them. These corporations profit from the exploitation of media that promotes misogyny, nihilism and the self hating of oppressed peoples of color – thereby reinforcing their colonialist and supremacist agenda. Those who are tasked as middlemen in executing the agenda of those corporations (along with the Government and other colonial instutions) are protected by their Corporate Overlords.

Theory of
I was just reading about this on this other site called Where My Ladies at. I also think that there just needs to be more people actively participating in this conversation.
I want to see more of these questions being asked by women. I know personally that there are many women who have worked in the Corporate World and have been participating in the conversations that have helped the Corporations exploit women.
Where are all the women voices around all Sharpton? How many women does he consult on a regular basis? How many of these women participate or even really understand the RAP music industry? How many care?
I want to see some dialogue about that. Where My Ladies At? That’s a good question.
