Congress is deciding the future of the SCHIP program

Since DC implemented the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), thousands of children have enrolled in a Medicaid-like program, receiving well-child and other important health care.However, the program is at risk and we want to tell our leaders how the cuts will hurt DC kids. If the President gets his way, thousands of DC kids could be without health insurance.Time is of the essence so PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION BY TOMORROW AUGUST 1 so we can share our views with Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton and President Bush about supporting health coverage for the District’s children.
